Dress shirts are great and everything but the normal man doesn't exactly spend all day of every day of his life in a dress shirt. Although that isn't the worst idea out there, there comes a time, in this case when the weather gets cooler for autumn and winter, when the male needs to find something warmer to wear so he doesn't freeze up. Sure, you may have your car turned on to warm up before you head out and yeah sure your house may be real warm, but you still need to step outside and there is no telling how cold your work place may end up being, more so if you need to work outside for your job. This is where sweaters come in. If you love your dress shirts you can always wear one under a sweater vest, but this article isn't about those.
Wool sweaters, which happen to be the most common of all sweater fabrics, is the favorite to many as its looks are great and has great function to it. Back in the day wool was normally the most used fabric that was knitted. It has proven its ability to retain heat. The main problem with wool sweaters is that wool, if man handled or exposed to heat, can get ruined, more so when it is wet. It loses about 30% of its strength when it gets soaked. So, maybe sometimes just sticking with a dress shirt will be for the best if a wool sweater doesn't sound like your thing.
