Like all other skills that are out there, fashion too has its mastery challenges. Think athletes and their triathlons, in this case it is how to master the black tie. And the black tie isn't exactly what you may think it is. We aren't talking about a literal black tie, but instead a suit style. Sure, many men may find it a little uncomfortable and things, maybe see it as a rite of passage on some occasions or it is just needed for weddings or even proms, but it is a style meant for special occasions. That is what makes the black tie so special, it has a specific purpose to it as opposed to just work dress shirts. The black tie is a dress code, so you have certain guidelines you need to follow regarding it. As long as you stick to those guidelines you will be good to go. Don't get caught up from sellers that try selling you otherwise, stick to the guidelines. Stick with the basic, classical and traditional look. You always need to wear a white dress shirt under it. The cuffs are usually single or double-barrel cuffs with a classical collar. You can go with french cuffs, however.
